Mechaduino?
É um Servo-Motor, com Controlador, que podem programar, para que possam controlar os Steppers, sem gastar uma fortuna, sim como o Arduino, mas para a Mecatrónica.

Mechaduino is an Arduino for mechatronics! Mechaduino is a self-contained motion control platform which allows you to develop your own custom servo mechanisms. It can be also be used as a drop-in servo motor for 3D printers and CNC machines. No more missed steps!
Engineers use servo motors to achieve the precision motion required in applications such as robotics, automation, and CNC manufacturing.  Like RC servos, industrial servos actively correct for external disturbances.  Unlike RC servos, industrial servos can provide very accurate motion, and often support advanced motion control modes.  Unfortunately the cost of industrial servos is prohibitive to the individual maker (thousands of dollars per motor)

Básicamente, este produto da Universidade Canadiana Laval, do Quebec, é um melhor sistema que os outros todos, porque em vez de ser um Robot Cartesiano funionando em Série, é um Robot que funciona em paralelo.

A vantagem principal, vê-se logo, é que é mais robusto e estável, e ainda menos sensível aerros derivados da Inércia dos movimentos, e cada eixo funciona independentemente.
Engenhocas, toca a fazer máquinas CNC muito mais sólidas!

TRIPTERON 
The tripteron is a 3-DOF translational parallel mechanism. The prototype was first developed through mathematical derivations (systematic type synthesis) based on screw theory. This unique and patented robot enables linear displacements in all directions. It is in fact equivalent to serial Cartesian robots. But since it is a parallel robot, it offers numerous other advantages, including the positioning of its actuators on the base, which reduces the moving inertia and thus allows rapid movements.
Moreover, the tripteron has very simple kinematics, which are actually the same as those of serial Cartesian robots. Also, this robot is isotropic and fully decoupled, i.e. each of the actuators is controlling one Cartesian degree of freedom, independently from the others. This robot thus has no singularities within its workspace and its dexterity is always optimal.

TRIPTERON
Le tripteron est un mécanisme parallèle à translations à 3 ddl. Le prototype a d'abord vu le jour à travers les formules mathématiques (synthèse systématique) et la théorie des visseurs. Robot unique, et breveté, il permet de réaliser des déplacements linéaires dans toutes les directions. C'est en fait l'équivalent des robots cartésiens sériels. Mais, puisqu'il est parallèle, il possède de nombreux autres avantages, notamment le positionnement des actionneurs sur la base, qui allège la partie mobile et permet ainsi des mouvements rapides et une réduction du gauchissement.
Le tripteron a de plus une cinématique très simple, en fait la même que les robots cartésiens sériels. Mais ce qui retient le plus notre attention, est qu'il soit isotrope et découplé. Ceci signifie qu'il garde la même précision de mouvement, peu importe l'endroit où il se trouve, et que cette précision est directement celle des moteurs (la précision de positionnement de l'effecteur est habituellement inférieure à celle des moteurs). Chacun des moteurs contrôle indépendemment une des translations. Le tripteron ne comporte donc aucune singularité à l'intérieur de son espace de travail et sa dextérité est toujours optimale.

“Magical Industry Tour” oferece prototipagem e apoio nas plataformas crowdfunding a inventores com produtos vendáveis

O uso de motores na automação de processos industriais é uma realidade incontestável e a presença dos diversos modelos de motores é facilmente notada nos variados tipos de máquinas que “populam” os parques industriais, sendo, inclusive, intensamente utilizados nos robôs industriais como principal elemento de movimentação desses equipamentos.
Os motores em geral possuem duas características muito importantes que devem ser levadas em consideração ao serem utilizados, ou seja, a velocidade de rotação e o torque. A velocidade de rotação determina quantas voltas por minuto o eixo do motor é capaz de executar e normalmente é chamada de RPM (rotações por minuto). Por outro lado, o torque é a força que aparece no eixo do motor quando ele gira e depende da distância entre o ponto em que uma carga é aplicada ao eixo até o centro do mesmo. Em outras palavras, quanto maior for o torque do motor maior é a sua capacidade de movimentar cargas mais pesadas.

In this Ible I'll be showing you how to use regular ol' duct tape to duplicate an existing object, then create a 2-dimensional pattern from the duct tape duplicate. This may not be one of my more attractive Ibles, but the methods explained herein have infinite applications if you're a prop builder, costumer, or puppet maker. In fact, the woman who taught me this method worked for the Henson Co. for many years and said this was how they'd get patterns for "skinning" puppets after the forms had been carved out of foam.
This is a very budget friendly method for the following problems:
--I want to make a corset/costume, but I don't have a dress form. Just to give you an idea of the potential here, I've included a photo of a duct tape full body cast my friend, artist Deb Winslow, made in order to fit armor for a masquerade ball we attend.
--I want to re-upholster this prop, but I don't want to massacre the original to get a pattern.
--I have a cool object I want to duplicate, but I don't have the skills/ materials/ workspace to do casting and molding. Mold making putty works fine for small objects, as in my Glitter Grenade Soap Ible, but larger objects may be best served by this duct tape treatment.

If we're looking to build our own bluetooth HID device, the hefty price of a single HID module can spike the budget of a project (like the BlueSMiRF HID for $40 USD, or the BlueFruit EZ-KEY HID for $20 USD).
An inexpensive bluetooth serial module commonly used by hobbyists, the HC-05, sells for $3 USD, but is not HID capable by default. With a bit of a firmware hack though, we can turn this cheaper module into a bluetooth HID module.

I set out to make a 3D printer about 3 months ago. I had been eyeballing designs like the Prusa i3 or a delta style printer but I wanted something a little bit more sturdy, less "hack job" looking, and a printer challenging enough to make it interesting. I decided to go with a "clone" of the Ultimaker²Go mostly because it's small enough that the side panels could be machined in my CNC router.
I also didn't want to do a direct clone. The Ultimaker²Go sells for a whopping $1600 and I wanted to keep the price around $500-$600. I decided to heavily tweak the design and components in order to drop that cost. This build requires that you have some sort of CNC router capability unfortunately unless you want to use 6mm birch plywood as the paneling (totally doable) and drill and cut the panels by hand.

Solder, heat shrink and waterproof your splices in one operation.

This is the easiest way to make soldered splice in your wiring. It is our favorite way to extend the wires on stepper motors.
This part combines a low temperature solder ring inside a piece of clear heat shrink tubing. It also has rings of hot melt glue at each end. You strip each wire, insert one from each end and cross the stripped ends inside the solder ring. You then heat the tubing with a heat gun. The solder and glue melts and the tubing shrinks. You get a reliable, insulated, waterproof and soldered connection in one operation.
It is also great when you need to fan out one wire to several wires. This often happens when you have one ground terminal, but four wires coming to it. Place the four wires in one end and one in the other end.

Snuggly situated in an industrial section of Oakland, CA is Next Thing Co. a team of nine artists and engineers who are pursuing the dream of a lower cost single board computer. Today they’ve unveiled their progress on Kickstarter, offering a $9 development board called Chip.
The board is Open Hardware, runs a flavor of Debian Linux, and boasts a 1Ghz R8 ARM processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of eMMC storage. It is more powerful than a Raspberry Pi B+ and equal to the BeagleBone Black in clock speed, RAM, and storage. Differentiating Chip from Beagle is its built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, and the ease in which it can be made portable, thanks to circuitry that handles battery operation.

Tried, true, and totally doable. Start cranking out solid thermoplastic parts.

Sometimes there’s a tool you want to buy, but you can’t justify the cost. In that case, why not make it? For me, a plastic injection molding machine fell into that category — and it turns out they’re not hard to make.
I wanted to make solid plastic parts for some of my amateur science experiments. There are a number of ways to make things out of plastic, each with its advantages and disadvantages. Often just cutting raw material to the desired shape works best. Some plastics can be cast by pouring a liquid resin with hardener into a mold (see “DIY Rotocaster,” Make: Volume 41). Vacuum forming works well for making things out of thin sheets of plastic (see “Kitchen Floor Vacuum Former,” Make: Volume 11). I considered making a 3D printer, but for the few plastic parts I envisioned needing, it wasn’t worth the time and money.
Plastic injection molding has been around since thermoplastics were invented. It’s a great way to make many copies of a part quickly, and what I like best is that it’s easy to reuse old plastic objects to make new ones.
So I built an injection molder based on the plans in Vincent R. Gingery’s book Secrets of Building a Plastic Injection Molding Machine. David Gingery could be considered a forerunner of the Maker Movement — he and his son Vincent have written a whole series of books on building tools for the machine shop.

Now a new kickstarter is promising a filament that is “1,000 times more electrically conductive” than previous filaments that have come to market. Using a dual extrusion machine and their new filament, the team at Functionalize has already created demos of a 3D printed flashlight and a magnetic levitation device.
