As Impressoras DLP são as que resultam numa Impressão mais fiel ao modelo, nada das "escadinhas" das Impressoras FDM, de Exrtusor e Filamento, e agora, podem construír uma, com 60 Dólares, o que é fantástico!

I have been on a hunt for the past several years to find a cheap and simple, yet moderately high resolution 3D printer. I had 3 different 3D printers partially constructed when I heard about the amazing technology of DLP Stereo lithography (SLA) printers. I have finally found enough parts at the right price to construct a fully functional printer capable of amazing quality with spending less than $100. Top down DLP printers in their simplest form have only one axis of motion, a video projector, and minimal electronics. They do not require a heated or perfectly level bed, there is never a clogged or wrong temperature in the extruder as it does not use an extruder. And the resin used has a comparable price to FDM printers.
The chimera (ky-meer-a) is a mythological creature that is made up of 3 different animals, this printer is made using the recycled/modified parts of 3 different categories (projector, toys, and old computer stuff), hence the name.
I am always looking for constructive criticism, let me know if you think i can improve on the project, or the instructable!

A brief overview:
This Instructable is about building a simple yet versatile resin (SLA) 3D printer that uses a cheap DLP projector to build the part from the "top down". This orientation of the light source is similar to other large scale industrial SLA machines. It has some advantages in simplicity, scalability and disadvantages in minimum feature size and print time.
This version build is budget conscious, has a low part count, can easily be upgraded and scaled in size. The entire 3D printer (projector and resin included) can be built for just about $500 or less which makes it one of the cheapest bang-for-your-buck 3D printers using SLA resin out there.

The DIY (Drone It Yourself) v1.0 kit offers you the opportunity to turn any object into a drone (or technically, an UAV). The kit consists of multiple parts that are easy to assemble and can be attached to a wide range of different objects.
For more advanced uses, you can take the original designs and alter the kit by making your own custom clamps or add-ons as needed.

One new series of kits that fits my definition of a maker toy is the Maker Studio Construction Sets from ThinkFun. The building sets are a departure for ThinkFun, which is better known for their logic games like Robot Turtles and Rush Hour, but completely in keeping with their theme of brain-building and hands-on fun. Designed by engineers David Yakos and Parker Thomas, the three Maker Studio sets — there are Gears, Propellers, and Winches — include struts, connectors, and moveable parts like wheels. It’s up the user to find a suitable body, and the sets encourage kids to look for recycled containers and materials to build out their projects, like the mac-and-cheese box racecar chassis.

An ingredient found in extra-virgin olive oil called oleocanthal has been known as a compound capable of killing a variety of human cancer cells, but how this process actually played out was not understood. Now, a team of researchers has uncovered not only how oleocanthal destroys cancer cells, but that it is able to do so while leaving healthy cells unharmed.
Paul Breslin, a professor of nutritional sciences at Rutgers University, had thought that oleocanthal killed the cancer cells by targeting a key protein in cancer cells that triggers apoptosis, a process that sees dangerous or damaged cells self-destruct by upsetting the balance of ions in the cell membranes. In investigating this theory, he teamed up with David Foster and Onica LeGendre, two cancer biologists from New York City's Hunter College to more closely examine the process.

Mostly I've been sticking LED's into resin. The 'ibles for these can be found which can be found here, here and here.
You could virtually stick anything you wanted into the resin; I decided to go with a “junk robot”! In my dancing robot Instructable I also used a couple of junk robots so if you want some more inspiration check out the ‘ible here
Junk robots are really easy and fun to make. All you need is some old electronic hardware and circuit boards, super glue your imagination and you’re away. I find that the older the electronic components the better. My junk robots were made from parts I scavenged from an old video player and tape recorder, but really you could use just about anything to make them. Just type in junk robots into Google and you’ll see what I mean.
The following will take you through how to make a junk bot, stick it in resin and light him up.

ConclusionThere is no shortage of embedded solutions for industrial applications, but how many of them give you a moderately powerful Linux system with all that I/O and such a vibrant ecosystem, for a price tag of around only $30 (at quantity 100) ? And for those who have already been using or looking at using the Raspberry Pi in such applications, their prayers have been answered.
Strategically it's an interesting move for the Raspberry Pi Foundation and easy to see how industry adoption will lead to opportunities in both directions, not to mention providing a new source of revenue that will enable the Foundation to do even more to promote the study of computer science.

The first part shows the modification of a paint tank and the following section depicts the casting process. I assume you know how to make a mold and cast material (here is a great Instructable on making a mold and video on making a simple block mold like I'm using below).

A professional 5-gallon pressure chamber costs upwards of $700, not including the compressor. A modified paint tank should cost under $120, and of course you will still need an air compressor.

Normal remote control cars, planes, boats and RC whatever are boring. This Instructable is on how to make a pulse jet powered ice racer! This is a very unique loud and dangerous RC vehicle that you could build in about one day with the right materials and tools and a little experience with pulse jets.

My brother and I both have a great interest in welding and fun dangerous stuff. So a few years ago when we got our first welder and we were just learning to weld, we thought it would be a fun and simple first project to make a small model sized pulse jet engine. That was simple and fun. We then thought what could we do next that would be something like this? Of course we thought bigger is better, especially if its remote controlled and thats what lead us to creating the Pulse Jet powered Ice Racer! Here is the final video of it running!
