E ainda vem com 3 meios de ser usada;

  • Como Impressora 3D
  • Como gravadora de Alumínio
  • Como fresa de plástico
É bom!

3D printer SkyOne
3dlaboratorio
Industrial 3D printer SkyOne is meant for printing by up-to-date plastics with melting temperature up to 260 °С. Fused deposition modeling technology (layer-by-layer formation of an object from as fused plastic) is behind a concept of its operation. The printer is realized according a coupled design SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm), two motors control levers, which move an extruder in XY plane. Feeding along the Z axis is realized by a ballscrew transmission. Scheme SCARA provides an advantage in printing speed over printers, which use Cartesian ordinates. But at the same time the software for 3D printer SkyOne is much more complicated than for printers constructed according a standard design.

Tool Demagnetizer and Magnetizer
tonyfoale
Tools sometimes get magnetised, this can be both useful and undesirable depending on the type of tool and the actual job that you want to use it for. For example there are times when having a magnetised screw driver is helpful to hold a screw when you need to put it in an awkward place but unless you want to do that it can be a disadvantage because it will attract any ferrous swarf, nails and screws nearby. Drill bits are a tools which you would not want to ever be magnetised, it will get covered in chips when drilling ferrous material.
That said, we can see that a means to magnetise and demagnetise tools and other objects like vernier calipers would be a useful workshop addition. To magnetise a tool we only need subject it to a strong uni-directional magnetic field and to demagnetise we subject the object to an alternating magnetic field.

PLA Welding – How to Fuse PLA Seams and Cracks

Tian Ooi
PLA welding is a way to fill in gaps or “glue” 3D prints together.
Using a power drill with a small piece of PLA filament instead of a drill bit, the rotating filament is pushed against the 3D printed plastic. This generates friction, which heats up the filament and softens it. The filament is then free to fill in a crack or weld plastic together. After cooling, this creates a strong bond, as if it had been part of the piece all along.
Inspired by friction welding, a welding technique typically used to fuse metals, PLA welding applies the concept of utilizing rotational friction to plastics instead. Friction welding is often used in industry to join dissimilar materials at more stable temperatures than other welding methods. Applications include the aerospace and automotive sector, joining together turbine shafts, car frames, and more.

Charcoal RetortKuzmanic
I have had a couple of attempts making charcoal using 44 gallon drums and they have worked okay, but needing a new project after buying a mig welder, I decided to make a retort.
The theory of a retort is that you heat the wood to be made into charcoal up to a point where it starts expelling all of the wood gas and impurities, which is then fed back into the fire to keep the process going.
After reading up and watching a number of videos on rocket stoves and retorts, I decided to make one with the idea of combining the two into one rocket stove powered charcoal retort.

Creating a Simple 3D Model on Fusion 360 and Creating a Toolpath MYDIYCNC
Tory MYDIYCNC
Hello there,
Tory at MyDIYCNC here. Today I want to show you how to use a very useful piece of software from Autodesk called: Fusion 360. With this software you can create simple 3D Models, to elaborate and complex 3D models.
What I hope to teach you today is how to create a simple model on Fusion 360, and then create a tool path in which you can then run the G Code on your MyDIYCNC machine or another CNC machine.
Let's get started!

[STUFF] Polygonia Design Suite
All3DP
Offering possibly the simplest way to sketch repeating geometric patterns, this browser-based web app is a surefire resource for intricate 2D designs.
We’re not ones for lattice room dividers, but after spending some time toying around with Polygonia Design Suite, it’s just a matter of time before the All3DP office is a maze of fancy laser cut obstacles. A browser-based vector drawing tool for quickly creating geometric patterns, Polygonia is the result of a visit to the Smithsonian and a smattering of high school math and software engineering by its creator, David Kaufman.
Through the simple UI of an online design app, you can sketch out simple line inputs which get instantly translated into rad looking tiled designs. Multiple parameters allow you to customize the design to suit your project and a variety of output formats including SVG and PNG give flexibility for further design software you use after.

Designing a Parametric "Print in Place" Hinged Container Using Autodesk Fusion 360
gzumwalt

The eight different size and color 3D printed "print in place" hinged containers appearing in the cover photograph of this Instructable do have one thing in common; they were all printed from a single Autodesk Fusion 360 model using "parametric modeling".
In a CAD environment, a parametric model is a model whose size and / or shape may be altered simply by changing dimensional values. In this model, I specified the dimensional values in the Autodesk Fusion 360 "Change Parameters" menu for the Length, Depth, Height, Thickness and Tolerance dimensions of a simple "print in place" hinged container. I then designed sketches for the base, lid and ball and socket hinges, and extruded the various components, using the dimensional values I entered. Thus to change the length of the container, I simply change the Length dimension, to change the depth, I change the Depth dimension and to change the height, I change the Height dimension. When any of the dimensional values on the Change Parameters menu are altered, Autodesk Fusion 360 rebuilds the container to the new dimensions, creating a new model ready for 3D printing, thanks to parametric modeling.

Making Aluminum Bronze: Melting Copper and Aluminum
matt.e.jenkins

Aluminium bronze is a type of bronze in which aluminium is the main alloying metal added to copper, in contrast to standard bronze (copper and tin) or brass (copper and zinc). A variety of aluminium bronzes of differing compositions have found industrial use, with most ranging from 5% to 11% aluminium by weight, the remaining mass being copper. The alloy I made consists of 11% aluminum and 89% copper. I personally made these just for the joy of creating and learning how to make alloys. If you have the resources to safely melt metal, then give this a try.

Magnetic adhesive tape for flexible attachments

If you want to attach something quickly and flexible to metal surfaces, magnetic adhesive tapes are very helpful. As if by magic they can attach objects to a fridge or metal shelf, for instance. You can remove them without residue whenever you like.
You can also stick the magnetic adhesive tape to the backside of decorative objects and make them your own magnets.
Manifold applications for the magnetic adhesive tape for private and business use:
  •  Hanging up of seasonal decoration, such as advent calendar, monthly calendar, etc.
  •  Mounting temporary signage, e.g. "We are on lunch break" for the store, office or practice

Moving Things (and Lasers!) Using Printed Circuit Boards
marciot

In this Instructable, I will share my experiments in making a set of PCB electromagnets for motion control.
For about a year, I have been experimenting with dual-axis pointing mirrors for lasers. Initially, I build a laser steering module out of solenoids. Then, I acquired some Texas Instruments TALP1000B modules from a scientific surplus outlet and experimented with those.
The Texas Instruments module had the advantage of being fantastically small, but it was very fragile and is no longer available for purchase. My DIY module had the advantage that had a clear (rather than gold) mirror, allowing it to work with violet lasers and phosphorescent screens. The DIY module was also robust and could be made from easily sourced parts. The downside was the solenoids made the module large and heavy and they could only provide a pulling force, complicating the driver circuit and limiting control.

Doubled Forces

If you have 2 magnets repelling one another, is the force doubled? If you stack 2 magnets together, is the pull force doubled? These are good questions that we receive from time to time. The answers are found in the mechanical engineering study of statics, the study of forces on non-moving objects. We’ll try to answer these in plain English, avoiding as much engineering jargon as we can!

Batthead batteries could allow any device to be wirelessly controlled

Ben Coxworth

There are already a wide variety of devices that can be turned on and off by your smartphone, although they typically need to be Wi-Fi- or Bluetooth-enabled. The makers of Batthead, however, have taken another approach. They're creating Bluetooth-controlled batteries, that will allow any ol' device using them to be powered up or down via your phone.
The Battheads themselves are AA-sized rechargeable NiMH batteries, each one containing a Bluetooth Smart Chip that allows it to communicate with your phone.
There's also an integrated accelerometer, making it possible for the batteries to detect when they've been moved. This could allow for things such as flashlights that come on whenever they're picked up, or devices that automatically turn off when they haven't been used in several minutes.

TomTato plant grows both tomatoes and potatoes

Ben Coxworth

We've seen a number of innovations that allow for gardening in small spaces, including a ferris wheel-like contraption, a mat that shows you where to plant specially-prepared seeds, and a system that lets you grow vertically-stacked veggies in your window. The TomTato, however, is in a league of its own – it's a single plant that produces both tomatoes and potatoes at the same time.
Created by UK horticulture company Thompson and Morgan, the TomTato is not the result of genetic engineering. It's "simply" the top of a cherry tomato plant and the bottom of a white potato plant, that have been grafted together at the stem.

Drywall Sanding Dust Collector/Separator

Randyrandy74

Drwall sanding produces lots of dust no matter how dust free your joint compound claims to be, Drywall dust will quickly clog your shop vac filter and shorten the life of your vacuum.

There is a wide selection of drywall dust separators on the market from $50 or so on up to several hundred dollars for a nice Festool extractor. Being a DIY homeowner, taping drywall is not a full time job and doesn't warrant spending the money, so I decided to make my own with about $20 at the local hardware store, This price can be more or less depending on how you make it and what items you might have lying around, I could have used an old bucket but opted to buy a new one for this project, about $5 for bucket and lid at Lowes.

Converting Cordless To Lithium Li-Po

henal

As time moves we find that our drill don't cut it any more as now there are all of these new powerful cordless drills with lithium but the price of one of them cost about an arm or leg so what do you do?
Convert them to lithium,

Motor technology has been the same since 20 years ago and it's still the same in all new drills "DC Brushed Motors"

Up on opening my "Old" drill and having a look at my motor my motor looked very new and the brushes ware far from worn if not still would go strong for many years to come.
On the other end the battery's ware totally on the end of its life.

High-speed camera system catches close-ups of snowflakes in mid-air

Ben Coxworth

Falling snow can play havoc with radar systems, so the more that we know about the manner in which snow falls, the better that those systems can be equipped to compensate for it. That’s why for the past three years, researchers from the University of Utah have been developing a device known as the Multi-Angle Snowflake Camera – or MASC. Using three cameras and two motion sensors, it captures 3D photos of snowflakes in free-fall.

How to make your own Metal Pulse Magnetizer
andreyeurope

Four weeks ago I was searching for an magnetizer that can revive my dead magnets (I killed them heating up at a high temperature, trying to encapsulate in a piece of glass), but I haven't found a instructable project that can help me, so with physics teacher's support  I made one that works.
With it's help you can revive dead or old magnets, or you can magnetize things like screwdrivers, nails, paperclips, or any metal which can be a good magnet.
It looks like a game console, isn't it ?
This device is only a PROTOTYPE, so maybe I will try to make a big one that can magnetize your hammer.
Now let's start the work.

Fuel cell-powered H-ROVER puts you in the NASA tech's seat

Ben Coxworth

It’s probably safe to say that most of us will never get the chance to operate a Mars rover. While it is now possible to purchase remote-control miniature buggies with onboard cameras, most of them still seem like ... well, like toys. The H-ROVER, however, is a little different. Looking like it would be right at home trundling across the Martian topsoil, the little tracked vehicle is powered by a hybrid hydrogen fuel cell and super-capacitor system.

NEW PRODUCTS! - Shapeoko Dual Drive Kit

Inventables started selling the Shapeoko CNC Mill in April 2012. The response from customers has been humbling. The Shapeoko CNC Mill is part of an open source hardware project by Edward Ford hosted at www.shapeoko.com.

In October of 2012 Inventables hired Edward. This is giving him more time to spend working on the project, advancing the Shapeoko, and also helping us add materials, components, and tools to our inventory. Our goal is to stock every material, component, and tool that you might need to build a product. That's a tall task but we believe if we accomplish it we will dramatically reduce the complexity of designing and building new products.

You'll hear more about this later in the year. We have some very interesting things going on behind the scenes.

Today we are launching something special for Shapeoko owners - the dual drive kit. The kit makes it easy to add a fourth motor on the Y axis of your Shapeoko so you can cut hardwoods and aluminum.
