Magnetic NERF pistol
EdgarInventor

As strong as the 10mm Neodymium magnets you can get! It re-sets back at the flick of the lever, as the piston magnet is turned around, and so gets repelled by the 2 side magnets. Files at: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/magnet-nerf-pistol

About useful modifications of the Delta 3D printer

I really like the Delta 3D printer.
This 3d printer is not similar to any of the existing 3d printers.
It has an amazing design, not the usual technical solution and high speed printing.
Sometimes people ask me about what parts are best to use for 3D Delta printer? And how to improve print quality?
In this article I will explain that it is better to use when creating the Delta 3D printer.

Super Brittliv!

Genial!
MUÁHÁHÁHÁ

Nerf Vulcan Sentry Gun

BrittLiv
In this instructable, I will show you how to modify a Nerf Vulcan to automatically aim and fire at targets.  As an added bonus, this gun won't fire at anyone wearing a shirt with the instructables robot on it. I had this project in mind for a long time and finally managed to find the time to bring it to life.

If you've been browsing through my other instructables, you might have noticed that I am obsessed with Nerf guns. So far, I’ve managed to infect just about everyone around me with the Nerf virus. It is really fun to see how these plastic toys turn grown men into small boys!

My main aim was for it to look awesome; which was difficult to achieve without removing the front part of the gun. But, I managed to accomplish this without removing the barrel, and I’m really happy with how it turned out!

7 Things To Fix Or Do With Oogoo

mikey77

Silicone caulk be hacked into all kinds of useful things. This adhesive has the unique qualities of sticking well to some things and not others. This makes it easy to cast into many shapes. If you add corn starch, it can be cast or formed or glued into shapes of any thickness and it can set up within an hour. I call this mix Oogoo.

This instructable shows how to fix or make seven things:

Step 2- Make heavy duty rubber bands

Step 3- Make your own custom erasers

Step 4- Make a wallet pen

Step 5- Make a hot pot gripper

Step 6- Fix a broken bucket handle

Step 7- Make liquid tape to insulate splices

Step 8- Make a thread locker for nuts and bolts

Phono Horn. Free Sound Dock for your Smart Phone to Download and Make.

Phono-Horn. A paper sound dock for your smart phone! Play your phone through the Phono Horn and the sound output is richer and clearer with improved bass response. There are two base templates included, one for iPhone 4S and one for Samsung Galaxy S2 and S4. It should be easy to adapt the kit to suit most phones. It is simply a matter of ensuring that the loudspeaker on the phone is positioned over the horn inlet hole.

Building UP an ArduCopter!

husamwadi

Today's guide will be about building an Arducopter, or otherwise known by the locals as "Flying Hedge Trimmer".

My greatest problem with the world of  RC and hobbyists is that there never is a complete guide on doing ANYTHING!

The experience of learning how to build a hexacopter from no knowledge is basically a big scavenger hunt for information. There was always bits and pieces, but never a complete guide for the build log, hardware, AND SOFTWARE (99% of the build).

I'm here to change that issue, so hopefully I can enlighten Instructables with a COMPLETE guide on building a Arducopter!

Lamello Invis Mx

Invis is a totally invisible connector that can be taken apart and reconnected to give a very strong locking joint. Working like a dowel in 2 parts and not requiring any clamping it is suitable for many joints and will overcome design problems where components need to be joined then disassembled and reassembled or where it is just almost impossible to clamp. All that is required is one exposed surface, this would also be ideal for joining worktops. The Invis 12mm dowel is in 2 parts with a central male and female thread and a coarse outer thread which is screwed into a pre bored hole, bring the two components together and using the special ‘MiniMag’ box in a power drill, laying this horizontal to the joint and forward spin to tighten the connector together resulting in a solid joint.

Oru kayak folds up like origami

By Ben Coxworth

We’ve already featured a folding rowboat and a folding canoe, so why not a folding kayak? Well, that’s what the Oru is ... and unlike existing folding kayaks that incorporate frames and skins that have to be assembled, it consists almost entirely of one piece of folded corrugated plastic.
The Oru is the creation of San Francisco designer Anton Willis.
Described as “the world's first origami kayak,” it can be folded down into the form of a suitcase-sized box. That, needless to say, would make it much easier than a regular kayak to store in an apartment, stick in a car, check at an airport, or carry through the wilderness.

Overclock your Raspberry Pi - Squeeze more power out of your $35 computer

aeszok

After recently purchasing my Raspberry Pi, I found many of the Linux distros to be slow and often sluggish. Unless you are using it as a pure media centre, you'll definitely want to try this method to make browsing the web and typing up documents a smoother experience. This method is totally free, involves no soldering and, if you stick with clock rates and don't tamper with the voltage, doesn't even void your warranty. I am in NO WAY an expert, especially with hardware, but this is very commonly done among the Raspberry Pi community and reasonably safe as long as you follow the instructions well.

Semi-Automatic Nerf Nitron Mod

In this Instructable I'm going to show you how to mod a Nerf Nitron into a semi-automatic gun. You might ask yourself, who in their right mind would turn a fully automatic gun into a half automatic one? The answer is simple, it gives you better control, is lighter and who has ever fired a Nerf Nitron knows how ridiculously slow it normally is. This combined with a voltage mod makes this gun simply amazing (now it takes less than 5 seconds to fire 20 shots).

DesignSpark ajuda-vos!

The right motherboard, key to project success

Contributed by Mark BVM

Choosing a motherboard can be a bewildering process. In the old days there was little to choose from, today it seems endless. ATX, micro-ATX, ITX, mini-ITX, the list goes on. The likes of ATX may seem old hat, but where different types of expansion card slots are required, an industrial ATX or micro-ATX motherboard could be your only option. Since Taiwanese firm VIA created Mini-ITX as a vehicle to promote their CPU chips in 2001, the small format motherboard has become fashionable and adopted by many desktop producers and embedded system builders alike. Care needs to be taken to differentiate the desktop specification from the IPC offerings. A True IPC SBC should be expected to have a production life of at least three to five years. In contrast, the desktop requirement is often to chase specification, resulting in frequent changes and updates. Other popular formats on the Embedded or IPC stage are 3.5" and 5.25" and more recently, the Pico-ITX. Each has its place, dependent on the final application and the facilities required in the target system.

FoldaRap: portable 3D printer

A 3D printer suitable for secret agents?
This is the first 3D printer I’d consider worthy of Ian Fleming’s Q character in the world of 007. The FoldaRap is a derivative of the RepRap project, the first to be a truely portable 3D printer. It is designed to fit within a tough travelling case.

The machine was influenced by Emmanuel Gilloz’s frustration travelling to 3D printing meetups with his machine. The typical A-frame structure of RepRap machines are not particularly compact, nor efficient in their use of space. Gilloz originally put together the RepRap family tree, and after about 6 months of development on the FoldaRap, he’ll now be able to add his own portable creation to the replicator genealogy table.
