Novelty

With its latest product, cuboro Ltd. sets foot on new terrain. Thanks to the ingenious game concept by cuboro fan Johannes Guischard, a cuboro board game for young and old is launched for the first time.

As for „cuboro tricky ways“ new and longer paths leading to various finish fields are to be found constantly. The longer a path is the more valuable it becomes. cuboro, the ingenious marble track system becomes an entertaining board game for the whole family. As for the simple game version in which tracks lead through the channels on the surface, already children from age 6 can collect many points! The full version including the tunnel functions ev

Grippy robot wheels

While trying to build a mini-sumo-robot, we found it difficult to get nice grippy wheels. So if we can't buy it, we will build it! In my research on Instructables I stumbled on the oogoo "movement"; http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Make-Your-Own-Sugru-Substitute/
I had some experience with silicon but that was not all positive; http://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-Watch-with-Nokia-3110-screen/
Especially the time it took the silicon to set was a real challenge for my lack of patience. I tried making a wheel with just silicon sealant but the oogoo version came out so much nicer.

PocketQube: CubeSat’s Little Brother
Bill Marshall

In April 2012 I posted a DesignSpark blog post on the launch into Earth orbit of tiny, cheap Nanosat satellites built to a standard pattern called a CubeSat. Thanks to the miniaturisation of electronics the format is one of a 10cm cube. Femtosats are even smaller: one design, called a PocketQube, is basically a 5cm cube and eight would fit inside a CubeSat. Surely a step too far?
